YMTC COVID Policy

To ensure our patrons’ health and security, as well as the safety of our performers and staff, YMTC has implemented the following policy:
  • Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and a valid photo ID (for anyone over the age of 12) are required to attend all indoor YMTC performances and events for all patrons over the age of 5. A physical vaccination card, picture of vaccination card, or digital vaccination record will suffice. California residents may obtain a digital vaccination card at MyVaccineRecord.cdph.ca.gov.
  • This requirement may be subject to limited exemptions under state and federal law. If you are exempted by law, please contact the box office in advance at box-office@ymtcbayarea.org. Exemptions requested at the door will not be honored.
  • Masks are required at all times for all patrons and visitors regardless of vaccination status in all indoor spaces.
  • Ticket purchasers are responsible for communicating these rules to whomever they provide tickets. Performance ticket holders who do not comply with these policies will not be admitted.

Due to the overwhelming preponderance of evidence about the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines, we firmly believe that requiring proof of vaccination at the door supports our company’s commitment to the health and safety of our performers, staff, and patrons.

If you or someone you know is vaccine-hesitant, we highly recommend The Vaccine Equity Cooperative, which vets and compiles resources around COVID-19 vaccines and public health practices, with specific focus on supporting BIPOC communities.
